Here at Chinook, we’re constantly looking for new ways to help our customers with their building projects. In the last little while, we opened a new location, and added new specialists and services to make your life easier. Take a look below at five things Chinook can do for you in-store, on-site and online. 

1. A quick and easy in-store experience

You’ll notice something different about Chinook before you even step foot into the store — parking, set up to fit your needs. Your time is valuable, so we set up our site in a way that makes it easy to park your truck or trailer.

Once you walk into one of our locations, you’ll be greeted by one of our sales staff who can help you find the materials you need. We make it easy to be in and out quick, so you don’t need to wait in long lines. We don’t have cashier stations, just a sales counter with knowledgeable sales folks who are ready to help you out. 

2. We load your order

Bring your truck and trailer the next time you stop in to Chinook. We’re happy to assemble your order and load it for you, so you won’t have to push a cart through our aisles. You’ll also find we have quick and efficient will-call at all of our locations, saving you even more time when you choose to come to us. 

3. We deliver

Your building project requires your attention, so don’t worry if you can’t make it into the store. We provide expert take-offs for our customers, so you’ll have your order delivered quickly and safely with no surprises. Plus, our experienced delivery and forklift drivers will assess your job site and unload your order in a convenient location. If you’re working with a dedicated Chinook point person, they’ll check in with you on your job site to make sure you have everything you need to get the job done. 

4. You can order online

When you create an online account, our [customer portal] (http://portal.chinooklumber.com/UserSignup.aspx?existing=) lets you browse products at your contractor rates and get up-to-date account information. You can also create and track your orders, view your statements and invoices, and even download them into Quickbooks. If you haven’t already, then sign up today to take advantage of this great tool to help you stay on top of your business. 

5. Specialized services

You can count on Chinook for expert-level advice, so we’ve grown our team of experts to better support your projects. We have deck builders, post-frame builders, fence contractors and new home construction specialists on staff. Our door and window specialist can meet you on-site to measure, compare and make suggestions based on the style of your house. Now, we even offer 3D deck design at all Chinook locations. Choose any kind of decking we offer, including composites, PVC, cedar or hardwoods, and we’ll customize a detailed 3D image based on your choice of design, size, color and railings. You can even see how it will appear on the house when you send us your jpeg image.
